Early County Museum

The culture of Early County dates back to 1818, it was named for Peter Early. The county is bordered on the west by the Chattahoochee River. There are many exhibits in the museum which follow the history and families in Early County.  Early County is an agriculture based community growing corn, soybean, cotton and the top crop peanuts.  There are many stories and lives following the history of these crops.

The history of Early County follows from the Civil War to today's progressive community.  Early County has a colorful and entertaining history.  The museum is filled with artifacts, books, art and pictures of this history.  We at the museum will be glad to give you a tour.  We think you will find it interesting and informative.
